I believe some of you might facing the inconvenience not to park at visitor bay even for a short period. My case worse, my car park is located at level 4A, my wife need to drive up and down for more than 4 times everyday for my children daily school activities. I always think that do we want a nice looking environment leaving the visitor bay empty always or we shall fully utilise the existing facilities/spaces since we have spent so much on maintenance fees and property!
Tx.

I do not have deep pockets. So I believe that is why I can resonate and empathize better with raymondkwa and a few others with young children and growing family needs.
Let me cut down to the chase. It is petrol costs. Just imagine the cost as your car winds up and down 4 to 5 stories in the car park. To top it you have 2A, 3A, and 4A. It is a substantial sum especially when you have to make 4 to 5 to and fro trips a day. And petrol cost has never gone down. It only and always goes up. As we are well aware things are getting more and more expensive. What when GST sets in in April next year...less than 9 months away?
I can also resonate with raymondkwa's wife because I have travelled that path before. The time, the energy demanded of you as you go round and round the car park not once, not twice nor thrice.
I go to Covillea to pay maintenance fees, collect bills and mail and also check on defects in my unit and to get them rectified. So when I go there I will be occupying one visitors car parking bay. I know that my tenants are out working the whole day and I would like to utilise my own parking lot during that time to free one visitor parking lot for fellow owners.
Can we work out a system so that we can maximize whatever facilities/resources we have? The human mind works best when we are face with limitations. We will then allow our minds to explore all possibilities.
Truth be told, up till now I do not understand the concept of car stickers that are in the process of implimentation because no one has explained it to me as to its purpose. Nor was any information disseminated to owners so that they can understand and cooperate. I only understand from the Covillean facebook account that it is for our safety.
But I can see and feel a number of Covilleans are unhappy.
Are we building bridges or building walls?
Kind regards, jsf

sigh. no one size fits all solution.
dilemma; if permits, might be open to abuse. if do not permits, might inconvenienced the residents.
in ideal situation, guards would need to do extra work. eg. mark down and record time. but this is just pushing responsibilities to others which might not work and create unnecessary tension.
but i fully agree with jsf on the need for proper communication. she put the words right on my mouth on the understanding of rules being implemented. i have no slightest idea on the objective here.
cheers!

Tx. i hav proposed to previous n current mgmt atleast 2-3times on this - to allow owners (probably with valid card sticker) to temp park at visitors parking for atleast 1-2hrs max... but i guess not many needed this extra facility (only affected few of us block b high floor parking owners as block A probably can just park outside n within short distance to their lobby)
