Hi Honorable Chairman and committee members and of the JMB,
Understandably, as the first term committee members there are tons and tons of work to do. I want you all to know that you are very, very much appreciated and thanks so much for blazing a trail for Covilleas to follow in future.
I have pondered over the matter of a first initial gathering of owners and felt that I should not just sit and watch.
I would like to take the initiative to have this gathering on Sat 15 Feb at 7pm at the BBQ area. This gathering has long been initiated by Ray, and I shall keep this fire burning.
Some of the Covilleans have confirmed their dishes for the pot luck:
Roast Duck - Our Chairman, Mr. How
Thai Style Fried Meehoon - Ray Tek
Laksa Chicken (if ingredients are available during this season) Otherwise finger food for our little ones) - Yours Truly
I feel we need the following:
Fresh Salad
Fruits
Beverages (soft drinks/beer)
White Rice
Kueh
Chinese New Year cookies
Mandarin Oranges
Snacks
Please let me know which one/ones you would like to bring as pot luck.
You can also choose to bring pizza, KFC or some other items convenient for you.
I would like to extend this invitation to our gathering to all members of the JMB, as well as Mr. Maran, Mr. Hyder, Kak Suli, Mr. Tai, Mr. Wan, Mr. SK, Mr. Cheah. And of course owners cum Berjaya staff, Mr. Michael Puaand Ms Jeanette.
I would like you all to know that this is the first time I am organizing this and I need your comments and help as I go along.
Please feel free to give me advice and your comments.

i just got an email then only found out there's a proposed gathering.
gratitude is an understatement to all hardworking individuals who sacrificed their time and effort to organise this and also upkeep covillea to be a premier residence for all.
may i ask what time is the gathering and where?
if time permits, i would psycho my family of 4 to attend as well.

So good to hear from you.
Hope other Covilleans will also reply soon.
The time is 7 pm. on Sat 15 Feb. Venue is BBQ area if weather is fine. If it rains, will be multi purpose hall.
Had been trying for the past 3 days to update the forum but unable to send it off. So thankful to Ray for helping to email to all owners.
It is potluck. Can I know what you would like to bring along? You and your family are most welcome to be present even if you are unable to prepare or bring food. We will ensure sufficient food for all.

Hi all, Kung Hei Fatt Choy. I notice there's no disposable plates, forks, spoons, chopsticks, tissue papers, etc. May I suggest I provide those? I can also bring my CNY cookies - nga ku beng (arrowhead).
There will be 3 of us attending.

Are things developing well with getting approval from the respective authorities? I am sadden that you have to go through so much hassle. But I trust everything will turn out to be right and happy for you soon.
If you can make it, do try to come back from Singapore and add to the merriment.
If you really cannot, we are going to miss you and your family and look forward to meeting you and family another time.

Hi Jsf, Thanks. My consent authority is still in the processing. Checked with lawyer that it is pending from developer approval **sigh** since 19 Dec 2013 until NOW. it is even havent reached the MY gov approval! Really hoping everything will go well. Cu very soon when we move there. We rent one unit at block B for temporary. |

Hi all! I'm trying my best to come to this gathering too. Most likely 2 adults and one very tiny baby (hehe).
Is there something that we are missing that we can bring???
Hey Vera, my process also very very slow....still processing and I think mine took even longer than yours! (Gosh!)
My lawyer who was handling my file resigned and another lawyer took over.
